Among the many projects PayneCrest has delivered for Boeing is its fuel farm where F-18 Hornets are fueled for testing. This highly intricate project required acute attention to detail, including an explosion-proof electrical infrastructure.

  • Class 1 Div. 1 installations reliably installed and tested to mitigate risks associated with ignitable concentrations of flammable gases, vapors and liquids
  • Class 1 Div. 1 light fixture and electrical components.
  • Heat trace system for optimal temperatures for piping fuel.
  • Precision monitors for fuel tanks and dispersion of fuel
  • Achieved all safety, design, installation, budget and schedule mandates for a major military contractor and the U.S. Department of Defense.
