Project Highlights
- Improved 650MW combined-cycle generating facility will have an integrated solar photovoltaic (PV) installation to meet the internal power needs of the facility
- Expansion included the existing high-capacity collector well and modifications to the on-site natural gas supply system
- Added short transmission line to connect the Riverside plant to the transmission grid, as well as the 138-kV to a 6.9-kV reserve auxiliary feed
- Improvements will serve an additional 550,000 households
