Mercy’s pioneering Virtual Care Center set the standard for innovative electrical and communication infrastructure to serve healthcare and all of it was delivered with precision by PayneCrest.  The first-of-its-kind medical office features 75 telemedicine programs staffed by 300 medical professionals.  The four-story, technology-intense facility connects physicians with patients and other doctors 24/7 across the globe with advanced audio/visual systems.

Project Highlights

  • Design assist ensured all installations performed with the highest functionality to deliver the best outcomes
  • Video wall with 16 60-inch monitors customized for physician use and 10 work stations with six monitors each for communicating with patients and collaborating with physicians
  • Power delivered to the site, including uninterrupted power supply (UPS) and back-up generators to ensure optimal reliability for intermedia data formats (IDF) and medium data formats (MDF) that are the heartbeat of the virtual care center
  • Powered sophisticated HVAC underfloor system and installed all LED lighting
  • Highly flexible workstation layout created by distributing power and data though underfloor to modular floor boxes
  • Managed an extremely tight schedule with precise planning and sequencing installations to accommodate high-end finishes throughout the building
