AG Edwards

Founded in 1887, AG Edwards & Sons, Inc. was a venerable 120-year-old St. Louis-based financial institution, which merged Wachovia Corp. which in turn was acquired by Wells Fargo. As its business grew to become one of the largest brokerages off Wall Street, AG Edwards turned to PayneCrest for a new data center to process trades orders.

 

Project Highlights

  • Compressed 12-week schedule to deliver mission critical components to activate data center
  • Installations included power, data, voice, fiber, multi-pair and coax cabling covering 35,000 square feet of raised floor.
  • Additional infrastructure installations included 8,300 data cables totaling 91 miles, 3,000 fiber strands, 120,000 feet of voice cables and 200,000 feet of #10 THHN building wire.
